Being an all-volunteer department we are always looking for men and women who would like to become apart of this great organization.
Qualification: 1- Must be 18 years old and out of high school. 2-Must have a valid North Carolina driver licenses. 3-Must have not had any convictions of driving while impaired in the last 5 years. 4-No felony conviction resulting in imprisonment or a fine greater than $250 5- Fill out a squad application 6-Must live inside Andrews Rescue Squads service district. 7-Must pass a criminal background check. 8-Must be voted on by general membership
Benefits: 1-Free education for your North Carolina EMT-B and North Carolina Rescue technician. 2-A chance to give back to your community. 3-Improve your community relation skills. 4-Learn how to use critical thinking skills under pressure
For people under 18 years of age that are interested in joining, we have a Jr. program please fill out the online form and a member from Andrews Rescue Squad will contact you.
Andrews Rescue Squad also has an auxiliary department for people that do not want to run EMS/Rescue calls. They assist with fundraisers, assist the Commander with paperwork, and general non-technical skills. You will not be considered an active state certified EMT or Rescue Tech member, but you are still a vital link in the community and the Andrews Rescue Squad.
